In the Manage Members section, you can manage who you’d like to receive emails containing your new posts, who you’d like to contribute to your Space and who has complete control over your Space.

Followers are people who you want to receive your new posts via email. Adding someone as a subscriber is an effective way to ensure your latest posts are viewed by people who don’t visit your Space or group every day.

Members are people authorized to post to your Space or group. Adding members enables you to have multiple authors for your Space. There are two ways a members can post to your Space or group – via email or through the Space settings section. If a member has a Posterous account, they can post through both options. If a member does not have a Posterous account, only the post via email option is available.

Administrators are members who have complete control over your Space including the ability to edit posts by contributors. You can have as many administrators as you want, but each must have a Posterous account.
