If don’t have a domain yet, you can purchase one through Posterous on our domain management page. We’ll handle all the technical details – all you need to do is purchase your domain, and you’ll be all set

If you already have your own domain, please follow the steps shown below.

1. Log into your domain registrar where you bought your domain and go to the DNS settings or DNS management page.

2. Add an A record to the following IP address: 184.106.20.102. Delete all other A records that do not point to this address. This is the only change you need to make – you do not need to change your name servers.

3. Click Settings from the dropdown for your Space to set your custom domain to yourdomain.com:

You’re done! Note that it can take 12-24 hours for your domain settings to propogate across the Internet.
